Rebecca Hemsley

Chief Financial Officer

Becky is an experienced finance executive with extensive commercial experience. She has held senior finance and operations roles in VC backed, growing biotech and emerging technology businesses for many years. Becky was previously the SVP Finance & Operations for KaNDy Therapeutics, managing the successful transaction process for its sale to Bayer in September 2020. At Xention Ltd she was instrumental in agreeing their collaboration with Servier. Earlier experience includes working at PPD, the clinical research organisation, with responsibilities across EMEA, Asia and Australia.

She trained as a chartered accountant with PwC, working for them in the UK and Australia.

Becky is responsible for all financial, legal and administration activities. Her experience includes M&A, fund raising, corporate restructuring, licensing, international transactions, business strategy and financial planning & management.

Becky has an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
