Dr. Mandel Sher
Dr. Mandel Sher is a Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy & Immunology, University of South Florida at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. After diagnosing and treating patients with chronic cough within his Allergy & Immunology practice since 1984, Dr. Sher established the Center for Cough in 2009. Center for Cough is a tertiary center having treated over one thousand patients, most of which have Chronic Refractory Cough or Unexplained Chronic Cough. Center for Cough, with a large subject data base, is a leading site for clinical trials of novel cough drugs. Dr. Sher is a consultant in the clinical aspects of cough drug development. He is a frequent speaker at professional society meetings.
Dr. Sher graduated from Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University with post graduate training at Duke, Harvard, and University of Michigan. He has had Board Certification in Allergy and Immunology, Pediatrics, and Pediatric Rheumatology.
